Distinguished Talent Visa (Subclass 124)

The Subclass 124 visa applies to individuals with internationally recognised records of achievement in specific fields such as science, sport, arts, or academia. Nomination by an Australian individual or organisation is required.

This visa grants permanent residency, and applicants must demonstrate ongoing work in their field. Recognition must be current, and achievements well-established through awards, publications, or peer references.

Immigration Agency assists by helping clients gather the appropriate evidence and understand how to meet the documentation standards laid out by immigration authorities.

This visa suits applicants intending to continue contributing to their field within Australia. Each application is handled with close attention to eligibility, field-specific requirements, and the role of the nominator in the process.

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa (Subclass 186)

Previously available to applicants with significant ownership in successful businesses, the Subclass 132 visa provided direct access to permanent residency. This visa is now closed to new applicants, but those with ongoing cases or transitional arrangements may still require support.

The Significant Business History stream required high business turnover, asset benchmarks, and nomination by a state or territory government. Immigration Agency can assist clients with pending cases or post-grant obligations, such as business operation updates or future migration plans.

For those exploring alternative business visa options, our team can advise on current pathways now replacing the 132 subclass. Tailored support helps applicants understand how their background may align with Australia's updated business migration streams.Designed for skilled workers nominated by an approved Australian employer, the ENS visa offers permanent residence across three streams. Applicants may be eligible via the Direct Entry stream, Temporary Residence Transition stream, or a Labour Agreement pathway.

We work with both visa applicants and employers to navigate the nomination and application process. This includes assistance with occupation verification, English language standards, and work experience documentation.

Each stream includes specific eligibility rules based on job type, employment history, and location. Employment must meet minimum salary levels and be for full-time work.

By helping clients understand the stream that best suits their background, Immigration Agency offers clarity throughout each stage of the process.

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

This permanent visa is available to skilled workers who have been nominated by an Australian state or territory. Nomination requirements differ by location and may include residency commitments or specific occupational needs.

Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest and meet eligibility under the points-tested framework. Immigration Agency provides advice on each nominating body’s conditions and assists clients in responding to invitations to apply.

The 190 visa is suited to individuals whose occupation appears on relevant lists and who meet English, health, and character requirements.

Not all states open nominations year-round, and availability may change. We help clients keep track of shifting nomination policies and provide clarity when comparing this option to other skilled visa pathways.

Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 489) – Invited Pathway

Though now replaced by the Subclass 491 visa, the Subclass 489 remains relevant for those still holding it or transitioning toward permanent residency.

The 489 visa allowed skilled workers to live and work in designated regional areas for up to four years. Nomination could come from a state or territory government or a relative in a designated area.

Immigration Agency supports clients holding this visa with updates on residency obligations and the requirements for progressing to the permanent Subclass 887 visa.

Ongoing support is available for reviewing work and location history to determine eligibility for transition. This assistance helps applicants remain compliant with migration requirements and explore the next steps in their journey.

Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485)

The Subclass 485 visa provides a temporary stay for recent graduates of Australian institutions. It allows eligible individuals to gain work experience or pursue further study.

There are two streams: Graduate Work and Post-Study Work. The applicable stream depends on the level and timing of completed studies.

Applicants must meet several requirements, including English language standards, health insurance coverage, and valid visa status at the time of applying. Timing is crucial, as applications must be lodged shortly after course completion.

We assist with stream selection, document preparation, and interpreting current migration policies to help applicants determine how this visa fits into broader goals, such as applying for a skilled migration visa in the future.

Skills in Demand Visa (Subclass 482)

This temporary visa enables Australian employers to sponsor skilled overseas workers when they cannot find a suitably qualified Australian for the role.

The visa is divided into three streams: Core Skills, Specialist Skills and Labour Agreement. Each stream has different occupation lists, salary thresholds and durations.

Immigration Agency assists both applicants and employers throughout the process. We help applicants compile evidence of their qualifications, employment history and English language proficiency. We also support employers through the nomination process and their sponsor obligations.

Applicants must satisfy health and character requirements and comply with visa conditions. Under certain streams, this visa may also provide a pathway to permanent residency, depending on regulations and individual circumstances.
