Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

The Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) is a points-tested visa for skilled workers who would like to live in Australia permanently. To be eligible, you must:

• Be under 45 years of age
• Have a successful skills assessment
• Meet a minimum score on the points test
